The year was in 1976. That’s the same year Marvin Gaye’s ‘I Want You’ album had just came out. This same year Rev. Jesse Jackson had just started the P.U.S.H foundation (People United to Save Humanity). So the bet was that if Jesse Jackson won against Marvin Gaye, he would perform free at his fundraiser. It is said that Jesse Jackson won and Marvin performed. This is a very rare story, so we had to tell it. There’s also said to be only 2 pictures from that day and none of them are full body.
